OK, after posting here awhile now, I see some people who seem to have senses of humor very close to mine. Just curious who you guys find the funniest. I'm very tight with comedy praise. I think David Cross is genius, but Ray Romano isn't funny at all.
Those who are funny:
David Cross
Bob Odenkirk
Patton Oswalt
Kevin Smith
Dave Chappelle
Robert Smigel (Triumph the Insult Dog, all the SNL Funhouse cartoons)
Dave Attell
Will Ferrell
Vince Vaughn
Chris Rock
Jon Stewart & almost the whole crew of Daily Show
Conan O'Brien
Bill Maher
Bernie Mac
Tenacious D
the Family Guy crew
the South Park crew
Those who WERE funny (but now are not due to drop off in performance, lac of work, my getting tired of them, or lack of oxygen)
Dennis Miller
Chris Farley
Sam Kinison
Redd Foxx
Andrew Dice Clay
Adam Sandler
David Letterman
George Carlin
Johnny Carson
Bill Hicks
Jerry Seinfeld
Ron White
Rodney Carrington
Jeff Foxworthy
Cedric The Entertainer
The Simpsons crew
Eddie Murphy
Chris Tucker
Those who were, to my sense of humor, NEVER funny:
Ray Romano
Larry The Cable Guy
Tim Allen
Bill Cosby
Jimmy Fallon
Arsenio Hall
Gallagher
Carrot Top
Jay Leno
cast of Reno 911
Your list? Faves? Hates? I'm interested to hear 'em.
adam sandler couldn't get me to laugh if he mudwrestled janet reno in the nude in times square at noon on easter...lewis black is funny and johnny carson as carnac used to make me laugh when he reached for the first envelope which was kept sealed in a mayonnaise jar on funk and wagnalls porch
"Lunch and no clean up! can life get any better, i submit it can not!"
on pin the tail on the donkey: "were gonna blindfold one, give them something sharpe, spin them around and let em go.. go bobby with the pin, 'what are those nosies, those are puncture wounds, bobby stop!' you made a horrible error!" kids running out the door yelling, he missed the donkey and got my neck, he pinned the tail on my neck!"
Imo the funniest person alive is Eddie Murphy. His newer stuff isnt as good but those who have a little age on them might remember Raw. That was one of the best stand up routines I can ever remember.
There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.
