How Do You Cork a Bat

Postby craigandthem » Thu Jun 05, 2003 1:28 pm

Just wondering, how do you go about corking a bat. Do you buy them that way, or is this a garage woodshop operation? How do you get the cork in there, keep it in there, and make the bat look like a regular bat? I also heard that the cork is normally from wine bottles, which both surprised me and made me laugh.

David Justice said that you could buy corked bats, but I think it would be much safer to do it yourself, IMO.
