this time it was about Vernon Wells GROTESQUE OF play. Tejada hits a routine single, V.Wells loafs over, and i mean loafs, picks it up and lobs it back in, meanwhile Tejada (who defines gamer) is runnin like he is bein chased around 1st and DIVES into second. AWESOME play by Tejada, just disgusting by Wells
So...kruck talks about how the manager shjould have benched wells right then and there and how this is a disgrace and how if baseball ever returned to how it was when Kruck played, he would leave the show. Anyone else see this?
I do remember in Tony Muser's last season in KC he threatened to send Carlos Beltran back to the minors because he didn't run out a ground ball hard enough. Instead it only became a few days on the bench. Managers today walk a thin line between being disciplinarians and being guys who piss off multi-million dollar stars.

I do remember that. I had Carlos on my fantasy team that year.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
