I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section, but I was wondering what you guys (especially Tampa fans) thought about him. He has been on fire recently...can he keep it up? Out of curiosity, would you rank him above Sizemore for potential this year?
Go Tigers!

He's facing the Yankees pitching staff, that's what's in his water.

I think he got some of what was in Giambi and Bonds' water.

I picked him up yesterday in my deep keeper league and am ecstatic over his HR today. I'm a Yankee fan so I've gotten to watch him quite a bit lately and he looks real solid at the plate. He hit for a lot of power in the minors this season I heard and Pineilla likes him so he's playing every day. Right now it looks like he's a possible 15-10 guy for the rest of the season and maybe a ceiling of 30-20 in the future the way Tampa Bay steals bases.
Bold Predictions:
Grady Sizemore will have more value than Jason Bay regardless of draft position
Aramis Ramirez in 155 G will hit over .300 40 HR 110 RBIs
Brian McCann will have more value than Jorge Posada regardless of draft position

I'd rather have Sizemore, who has nailed down a starting gig. Gomes is not as sure to be in there every day, although he's certainly enhancing his chances.
In any event, Sizemore gets you better across the board balance.

So as long as I keep biting my nails, Gomes will keep hitting?

Another HR today. And SBs thrown in to boot the last few days. Looks like a late surge for the ROY.
