Actually, McCarver is very nearly as bad. But that's a different thread.
One thing annoys me about Waldman and Sterling is they constantly are cutting each other off or trying to speak at the same time. It's one thing when you've got nothing to say (Waldman) but toss in the fact that you have no sense of when to say it...irritating. And she always poses these questions that make her sound like someone who is just learning the game, has picked up a little bit, but still needs reassurances from Sterling that she's on the right track.
You know who else I hate is Ron Darling, who does the Nats broadcasts. Nothing he says is terribly awful, in fact I think he's fine, but it's the WAY he says it. He curls up his voice at the end of EVERY SENTENCE, like he's asking a question. I began to notice it after a while, and now it's all I think about when the Nats are on.
