who will be the cubs #5 SP when prior and wood come back..is grusch more valuable in the pen ? what if jerome wiliams shines in his tuesday and sunday starts this week ? smitre a longshot ?

Tough Question. Mitre has been pitching well, Williams pitched well in his Tuesday outing and Rusch is the only Lefty. I think the best option may be sending Rusch to the Pen as he he is the most versatile. I don't see any benefit to putting either of the other two in the bull-pen. I think Williams will prolly get sent back down to AAA.

I'm hoping that Williams has got his act together again. He pitched relatively well in SF last season and could be a solid #5 for Chicago. I agree that Rusch would be helpful in the bullpen and he's shown that moving from the pen to a spot start and back to the pen doesn't affect him too much. That can be tough on some of the younger pitchers.
