He's still striking guys out, but has really struggled in June otherwise. Is this a bump in the road or the beginning of a 2nd half meltdown?

i still really like him - he has had a rough stretch of opponents that have caused this month's poor outings - @col, bal, bos, and stl

but the rest of his numbers still look good - k/9, k/bb

I still like him but he's been throwing too many pitches. His recent slump started after a 125+ outing. He threw 115+ last night in a losing effort. Something to be concerned about, IMO.

Agree - the high pitch counts are a concern, but otherwise, I like his peripherals.

Pitching for the Reds limits his win opportunities, as well as the bullpen sucking (they've had 3 blown saves in his games). If he can be more efficient, it'll help the pitch counts and allow him to go deeper, reducing the risk of the bullpen blowing it.

Regardless, I think Harang still has great upside.... he has had one of the most difficult schedules a fantasy any SP can have on your roster.

With another tough game ahead (cleveland) you might see him being dropped in alot of fantasy leagues, he's not a #3 starter on your roster, but if your a deeper league, or carrying #6 starters on your roster, you gotta love a guy that puts up 7 or 8 K a game.
If you found my advice helpful, please help me
