i know he's been injured for the past week, but even before that...he's not running, he's not hitting 'em out--will he?
there are some kids floating around out there (morgan ensberg) whom i'm considering as prime pick-ups...but i feel stupid about dropping stewart. if he's only going to hit for average, i need to drop him.
Well, he was put on the DL today, so if you have an open DL slot, I'd plunk him in there and grab someone off waivers until he comes back. He's a pretty productive outfielder to drop outright.
stewsie's never "hit em out", and the jays dont emphasize the running game, and he's still over .300, and is (before the hammy) still scoring runs...this is what he does
so then, you don't think he can get there. i can understand why the decline in steals, but in power? why? very strange. hope he comes back strong. i won't drop him, yet.
The Jays aren't trying to steal bases only 11 all year and with all the runs they are scoring I don't see that changing. He has one SB and just got put on the DL with a strained hammy. I don't expect him to steal 10 bases.
