top catcher? i dunno. i platoon him with AJ and i've noticed he's been getting a few more looks at lefty starters than normal. he has improved regardless, but he's no stud yet.

As the rest of the Indians bats heat up, expect him to further. Teams are having to pitch to him now that he's taking all these walks, so he's seeing pitches to hit.

Having traded for him twice and pairing him with others in both leagues, he better damn well become the elite catcher we all expected.

He got hot in May/June...red hot in July...came back down to earth early August and died off pretty much in late August/ September.

If production does indeed work like a sine wave, then I'd expect a peak near the end of this year. I am convinced Victor is one of those catchers that other catcher disadvantaged owners will be looking at in jealousy by August.
