Has anyone heard rumors/rumblings re: the future home of Alex Sanchez.?
Can't believe that there is not one team that could use a .340/.800-plus OPS hitter with speed and comedy value in the outfield (Fans, come see our clown in CF!!). Must be a niche somewhere?
I have a selfish interest as I need some help in BA and SB, and he represents cheap help in both categories.

Funny you should say that - the Giants have now claimed him...
It'll be interesting to see what kind of playing time he gets.
For any Giants fans out there - what will this do for Ellison's PT?

as i wrote in the other thread, the san jose mercury reported that he will only be used in a resereve role which should indicate that it will not cut into ellisons pt. i think that they are happy with the young guys they are putting out there and dont intend to move them, but they probably had a hard time passing up a player who can do what he can do for such little money.
