Who the hell is this guy? 3 straight multihomer games. Has anyone ever done that before?

Althugh that's damn impressive, I'm staying far away from him. That has to be the biggest example of following a streak as it gets. Erstad is back soon, and I don't care how he's doing, Erstad will get his job back.

I just hope some schmuck in my league drops a good player for DaVanon. Oh yeah, the last 2 games have been in Homer Bithram Stadium.

He won't keep it up, and he won't be givevn a chance to once Erstad is back, which should be fairly soon.

Even before these last few games, he has been stealing AB's away from Salmon late in the game. With DaVanon's emergence, Erstad's return, and interleague play in NL parks taking the DH out of the equation, Salmon's spot in your line-up (or on your roster) should be evaluated.

I picked him up the other day and so far it has been a good pick up.

I am going to ride him until Erstad gets back and then I will waive him.

3 multi-homer games...I cannot complain for the production that he has provided so far...
The BIG RED Machine will rise again.

Good for all of you who picked him up for this hot streak, but either trade him to some unsuspecting dope before Erstad gets back, or drop him. While you can't be begrudge a guy for making the most of an opportunity, and good for him for doing so, he's never shown any real power before, and when it's 200 feet to the power alleys in a ballpark, a Little Leaguer could hit 2 HRs per game. :-t

trade him/drop him.....

I doubt it. Fullmer has been pretty consistent. And also, as somebody else said, he's been playing in Puerto Rico! He'll cool off as soon as Anaheim leaves Puerto Rico.

I would say he certainly could take AB's away from Fullmer. Salmon has DH'd in 10 games already. An overflow in the OF means there will be some shifting, and guys will get days off to keep them fresh. Let's say it's the 7th inning of a close gagme. Fullmer gets a single and represents the tying run. DaVanon could be put in as a pinch runner, Salmon goes to DH and DaVanon goes to the RF.Fullmer may lose an AB in the 9th. As a (former) Salmon owner, I've certainly noticed a dip in the AB's, and it isn't going to magically disappear once the situation gets more crowded.

Hell, I've jumped on the bandwagon, if only for mondays upcoming game @ Philly. I can always use a monday start.

ESPN Insider said he could DH some when Erstad comes back. Fullmer would play 1b and Spiezio would sit out.
