is this what people where expecting from mackowiak? i know he had a couple hot streaks last year, but i always thought he was project to be a rather mediocre hitter.

should we expect him to keep hitting well?

Oh, God, no. It's flukey. He's not this good. He's not remotely this good. He's a Utility infielder, tops.

But he's putting up good numbers right now if you need some help at 2nd, 3rd, left, right, or center in the short term, he's not a bad option.

Really, I just thought the Pirates thing was interesting.
