I need a shortstop/RP. Who can I deal for one? WHIR

Gagne is pretty much gone, J uribe is a joke, and garciaparra won't be back for a while. All my utility players have 3 positions, but none of them are SS. Who should I use to make a Deal?

If you only start 1 catcher I'd try and see what you can get for Piazza. Other than that I'd probably drop Uribe for Berroa, he's having a decent season so far. You might also want to see what Pierre would bring, he's just not stealing his usual number of bases this year.

id drop uribe for feliz, i like feliz power for a SS. as rps r concerned, id try to deal piazza for a very low level closer (bruney, fuentes come to mind)

drop uribe,if you are lacking speed each week i would take vizquel. but feliz and peralta have more power production. if you need home runs and rbi's id take feliz over peralta because of his versatility. i'm sorry but i don't think berroa will get it done.

I think you have to grab Feliz here. His position eligibility makes him far more valuable then the others since he can cover off-days for your other starters on almost all positions!

Other then that is this a keeper league? If not then I'd dump your DL guys like Gagne and Nomar who probably won't play this year and even if they do come back for a couple weeks or a month doesn't warrant a roster spot until that time.

I'd also drop Uribe, Lowell and Graves. Uribe has been total crap. Lowell smells worse then Uribe and Graves smells worse then the two of them put together.

At least add Hammond or Politte for some vulture wins in Graves spot. As for the other two in a 10 team league there has GOT to be better guys on the FA list.

It seems to me that your team has had a lot of injuries and a few guys struggling and you were a little too slow to deal with the problems. IE - Lowell probably should have been dropped a month ago. A lot of the time with these leagues it's the quickest players that have success as they are the ones to jump on hot streaks and sleepers in the FA list.

If you are looking for a shortstop, pick up Kelly Johnson, SS/LF for the Braves. He's hitting .368 for the last 7 days. Hes a quick fix, but he should do the job for now.
