Greatest sports achievement from New Zealand? It's gotta be your uncanny ability in Lucky Ladders.

I would put that right up there near the top. ;-D

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Peter Snell. He was definitely a Kiwi and now lives in the U.S. Gold medal double 800m / 1500m Tokyo 1964. That still ranks as the greatest sporting achievement by a New Zealander ever IMO.

Ahh all these memories, I'm getting all emotional again.

There's no crying in golf! But seriously, glad you and your fellow Kiwis are getting to enjoy this. ;-D

anybody else get a lump in the back of their throat when he missed that 3 footer to win the thing?

Not at all. He had strokes to give there and you knew that he was nervous as hell. It would have been nice to see Retief challenge history but I was pulling for Campbell. I have followed his career for some time and it was nice to see him come through. Bob Charles must be happy as well. ;-D

Nice ;-D

Have you ever noticed how when Russell Crow wins an Academy Award, the Aussie media claims him as our own - but when he gets in a bar fight or throws a phone at a concierge, he magically becomes a Kiwi :-D

If only sheep could play sport huh ;-)

You know I couldnt let a reply go without throwing in a sheep shot. :-b

Agreed, it was great to see Campbell win it.

I remember watching Mike Weir win the Masters a couple years ago, and how much that meant for Canadians. All Kiwis must be proud!
