Yes. I've heard that alot of his thoughts have been on this cancer that has been a trouble for him. His last test came up negative, however, and it took a great burden off of him. I think it will help him to concentrate on his pitching. Although I'm hoping that Giles hits 3 homers off of him (on my team).

I'm starting him too....hoping he can get a good bead on the pirates hitters by watching game one, so he can go out there and dominate in game 2. Then again, I have some innings I need pitched, so proceed at your own risk.

I would say starting Lowe tonight is not only inadvisable, it is likely suicidal. Take a look at his home/road splits this year. A 10.38 road ERA and a home ERA around 1.50. Even though the Pirates are a weak team, bench Lowe on the road until he proves he can turn his road performances around.

i think i am goign to do it. I jsut got zito in a trade, so maybe until he has a start, gamble a bit. Actually if giles hits three hoem runs and that is all they do, i don;t care.

I have Lowe on my team and will bench him until he proves he can pitch on the road. It hasn't been worth the pain in my ERA.

I'm gonna let Lowe sit this one out too, just until he gets a good start on the road, then he will be alright to play.

i started him thinking pitts has a habit of getting struggling pitchers back on track. Hopefully Lowe just continues to pitch like this from now on

yea I gambled and it paid off. He still scares me. I am hoping he strings together some good outings, then pawn him off on someone.
