Manny Out Again from HBP?!?!?!?

This is, I think, the third time this season that Manny will miss time due to being hit by a pitch. I hate to question how much that hurts (because I'm sure it is very painful). But it seems odd that he would miss time every time he gets plunked. This is very frustrating in a league with weekly changes.

What really bothers me about it is manny has nothing in that head of his to get hurt when he gets hit by pitches. He did get it in the dome a couple times, not sure where the latest hit by pitch got him. Either way, its questionable that he'd have to sit out the next game, but from Bostons point of view its not like they don't a player to plug in for one game here or there and it works out like a normal off day in the over all scheme of things I guess.

I saw 2 out of 3 of them. One hit him in the head, and he was obviously out of it for a little while afterward. They had no choice but to take him out of that game, and I believe, that is the only game he missed for that one. Then the other day, man, that really hit him hard on the ankle. After seeing it, I was worried he might miss more time than he did... you know, one of those not so bad that he would go to the DL, but bad enough so that he wouldn't be himself deals. I was not at all surprised that he was out yesterday... He hit a homerun tonight, so I guess he is okay.

Yea, he seemed to be fine tonight. 3-5 with the homer, and a double, 4 rbi's I believe. Hit me in the ankle if that's how you play the next day.
