Lakeland Tigers with 10 All-Stars

The Lakeland Tigers sent 10 All-Stars to the Florida State League All-Star game, 7 of them starters in the game. That is apparently a record in that league. 3 of them including Justin Verlander were promoted to AA after the game. Brent Clevlen of Lakeland won the HR derby.

Hopefully this is the sign of an improving farm system that has been pretty bad for a number of years.
