Interesting article. Having worked in accounting, i can only imagine the near limitless possibilites for disquising or writing off revenue a MLB team provides
edit: I'ld like to see these same numbers updated for some of the parks

I think the author points that out-this is praticularly problematic with media companies who own teams, as they can under, or overpay, depending on how they need certain companies to look. the Cubs in particular seem to barely show any profit from their WGN deal, whereas the Braves are fairly cash-rich from their TBS deal.
