Ervin Santana: Pitching Today!

Yeah, I noticed Santana was starting today (Sunday) too. I've put him in my line-up. Florida hasn't been great recently and he'll be going against Al "Get Lit Up" Leiter. I'm feeling good about his chances. Certainly, it was better than starting against Texas on Monday. :-)

Unfortunately, I have Loiaza going against Texas today. :-o

As for Ervin Santana, in his last two starters he looked a lot like the other Santana. You know, that Johan guy. If he keeps throwing like that, or even close to it, there's no way LA is gonna send him back down.
I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.

I was soooo hoping we wouldn't get a another start before my keeper league's bid deadline tonight. I entered a $2 bid for him as soon as Escobar went down hoping to pick up a future stud on the cheap. If Escobar's owner wasn't convinced after one start I'm sure he(as well as any other intelligent owners who have a pitcher who sucks/is going on the DL this week)will be after 2 solid outings. I'm wondering if I should raise my bid on him a little. If he get's sent to the minors I can reserve him and still have him on my team without wasting a roster spot so he might be worth a few more dollars.
Finally The Rock has come back....to New York City!!

Not anymore you don't. Scratched due to neck stiffness.

Kelvim Escobar may or may not have to go under the knife but he will at least be out the next 3-4 weeks. Escobar's arm troubles aren't likely to disappear. Byrd is a marginal fantasy pitcher with arm trouble and E. Santana has electric stuff. I took a flyer on him since he got called back up and I will have no regrets regardless.
I could be wrong in what I'm saying but I'll be dead before I realize it.

I find this pretty funny. One start doesn't make a stud. If you are in a twenty man league this guy is maybe worth a flyer.
