Yesterday, with Wright on first and Reyes on second in the first inning, the Mets attempted a double steal. Reyes was called out at third and Wright ended up safe at second without a wild throw or error. Yet, Wright was not credited with a steal. The CBSsportsline ply-by-play lists it as a steal, but does not give him one in the box score. Is this considered fielder indifference? Yet, if Reyes had been safe, Wright would probably still get the steal, correct?
Anyone?

And I have both of them and need steals. Way to go Reyes!

It kind of makes sense: The catcher obviously can't throw out both guys, so it doesn't entirely make sense to give the safe guy credit when a decision was made to go for someone else. So I think it follows the same logic as a fielder's choice.
