So I have a chance to trade for Fielder. Batista for Prince 1-1 I am in last place and have to start looking toward next year

Is this a smart move?

Sleepers, updates, strategy, advice, Hardly the wrong place for this question...

And Yes I would do that trade....IF the Brewers played in the American League Im Sure Prince Would be up for good real soon as the anual June Swoon is in full effect..Hopefully next yr they Make room for him to be a fulltime player

Anyways, depending on how many keepers you have for next year, I'd probably do this deal.

Here is the problem. We have NO Bench. So I would lose stats by keepig him on my team. The other problem is that we have to keep 8 out of 27 but can keep a max of 12

Let me also add that it is a salary league and Fielder gets a salary of $5 for his first 3 season once I call him up

If thats true, then you'll have an absolute steal with Prince for the next few years. If you are in last place anyways, who cares if you lose a few stats by keeping an NA guy in your lineup? You're playing for next year anyways....

Make the deal, and be happy that you dont have to give away more than Batista ;-D
