I recently changed my team name to "Upside" b/c i've been bouncing between 4th and 8th and Beltran, Thome, Odalis, Maggs, Bonds, C Guillen, VMart, Hudson, Casey, and Lowell have nowhere to go but up and my only outperformer is Abreu, if you even want to call him that. I could win, less than 50% chance, but I have the upside to make it possible.
Forget right now, you can finish the regular season in first place by 20 games and still not be the best PLAYOFF team. First place teams are usually very good well-rounded teams. These teams often lose in playoffs to more polar teams that dominate 5-6 categories; these teams won't have a regular season record that is as good as the first place well-rounded team because they will often have 3-4 categories that they lose often.

Can you trade with your other team?
Of course, I do all the time.
My other team features El Duque, Pettitte, Sizemore, Coco Crisp, and Morneau.
Then what's the point of having 2 teams? Why not just have one huge team? If it's H2H, this makes even less, because it allows teams to stack themselves depending on which opponent they want to beat more and there will likely be 10 awful teams, and 10 good teams.
In a H2H you can be one of the worst teams and be in first. I am in 4th in my league, but I think my team is the best or 2nd best. In a H2H, if your opponent stinks every week then you won't have to be very good to win that week. And the opposite is true too. Your team can blow up, but if the other guys team blows up more than you lose even though you would have beat every other team in the league. In my H2H football league last year I scored the 2nd most points, but didn't make the playoffs cuz I had by far the most points scored against!!! So no just because you are in first doesn't mean your team is the"best".
