Exaclty, stay in First place.
Iny my league last year only 3 teams were in first all year, my team for 2 months, my best friends for the rest of the time, and another friend for 1 day, the 1 day won the league.

Right now, the first place team tells me I have the best looking team on paper to make a run at it, given I'm in 6th of 10 right now but I spent half of April and half of May in first. So it is possible for the best team to not be in first place all year, it all depends on when the teams are hot at this point, but the cream will rise to the top by the time August comes around.

The end of the year is the only time you can evaluate who had the best team overall.

We have something like 60+% of the season remaining. I have won leagues where I was in 5th or 6th at the break in years past. Anyone who is staying relatively close to the leaders has a shot. All it takes is for your guys to pick it up and/or get healthy and the leaders guys to start to stink it up or get hurt. That said, if yuo are 50 points out in the basement, it is probably safe to say your team blows and has no shot.
