Thoughts on bellhorn?

Postby jzfran » Fri Jun 17, 2005 12:50 pm

I have never been a fan of him. he always either K's or BB's. He hits a horrendous average and has little power. His fielding is average. They need to make some changes at 2B (Meuller-even tho I dont like him much better) so that Youk could play every day. With Meuller at 2B until Pedrioa or Hanley Ramirez (Yes-I want him to be a 2B now with Renteria at SS) is ready, then youk could play every day and we dont need Bellhorn. What do u guys think?

Bellhorn is probably the best 9th hitter in the league. We can't have all-star's at all positions, and Bellhorn is an average 2b. While it would be nice for Mueller to move to second, he'd have to move around alot more than he does now, and with 2 surgeries on his knee so far, that may not be good.
Going to huge someday.
