It seems like theres pletheora of pitching injuries this year, or maybe I'm wrong? Does anyone have any idea if more are on the DL this year than usually and what not.

haha. This question comes up every year. No, the amount of pitching injuries are simliar to those in previous years. It just is some sort of illusion I believe

Well I do not know, but it sure seems like the injuries to top pitching is higher this year. Been playing this game for awhile and can't remember a year with so many top/fantasy worthy pitchers going down with so many ailments.
Sheets
Schilling
Thomson
Benitez
Gagne
Wells
Wood
Prior
Beckett
Hudson
Hampton
Lyon
Escobar
Wolf
Just off the top of my head and that is not including guys that have been stinking up and may be playing hurt like Schmidt, Ol Perez?
Maybe in years past more bottom level pitchers were getting hurt, maybe not. But pitching has been an absolute horror in fantasy leagues this season due to the injuries and I do not recall it ever being this bad.
