Well, the guy is finally off anti-biotics and is "day-to-day" for baseball activities... think he will finally turn the corner and come back this season? And what about when?
Alou has said he still is hoping Bonds can return to DH for the upcoming series against the A's...
Well, hope in one hand and crap in the other...
I do think, though, that he might be pinch hitting before the month is over...

Alou may pee in his hands, but I havn't heard anything about poo
As long as Bonds is back by the fantasy palyoffs I'll be happy.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
Giants manager Felipe Alou gave a hearty chuckle when asked for an update on the injury to superstar slugger Barry Bonds. "I don't have my laptop with me," Alou said, alluding to the progress reports Bonds posts on his website. "I'm not even close to anticipating any (return) date."
We do have internet access. From his website journal entry June 10: "The rehab is coming along great. We are moving along at a nice pace and I'm only a few degrees from having full motion. My knee is getting stronger and although the swelling is minimal, we have to still be cautious. Over the weekend, I will see Dr. Armstrong and go over my X-Ray and MRI results. We will then plan out the next few weeks and see how we can increase my rehabilitation workout. Next week, I will be getting off the antibiotics and have another blood test. This week, I played catch on the field, did some resistance exercises and used my heavy bat to work on a few hand drills. Another good sign for me is that my stamina is coming back. I've been spending time cycling and when the time is right, I will be outside jogging. I feel that all the pieces are coming together at a good pace for me. Thoughts of playing with my teammates and hearing the roar of the fans as we pursue a World Series ring here in San Francisco really motivates me." Nothing really new. We anticipate a post All-Star break return at this point.

Well, I don't know about any of the other Bond's owners, but I know I can swap him out of the DL spot for one of my many other DL guys thats taking up a bench spot !
