Jun 16 Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki went 1-for-5 with his fourth home run of the season on Wednesday against the Phillies.
Views: Ichiro is now halfway to his 2004 home run total of eight, a number that seems unlikely to be passed this season. He's a solid source of batting average and runs, but never will be a power hitter.

uh, if he hit 1/2 the # of homers he hit last season with more than 1/2 the season still left, simple arithmatic would dictate that he exceed the # of homers from last season.

he'll never be a power hitter? gee, really? thank you for that wonderful fantasy insight. i was going to give pujols for him, but now i won't.
