What's the word? Is he gonna be solid from here on out?

There is no reason he shouldn't be... at least from watching him he's just kinda getting back into the swing of things. He's been out for a little while. His velocity is there. Apparently he STILL gets dizzy spells, however; they are short and few and far between.

Well, like anything this will just be a prediction from anyone who responds to this article. However, Sheets is a stud starting pitcher. When he has pitched, he has pitched extrememly well. So as long as he doesn't miss any more time, he should do fine for the rest of the season.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

Sheets

Postby Chocolate Thunder » Thu Jun 16, 2005 1:50 pm

The last time I watched Sheets pitch, prior to the game the announcers discussed how Sheets is extremely interested in fantasy baseball and that he felt he was letting down all of his owners around the country. In addition, he didn't want his draft status for next season to change (drop a few rounds). So he vowed to turn his season around for his many owners.

Certainly this doesn't guarantee success but it can't hurt can it? ;-D

Sheets has been pitching very solid ball. Unfortunately, he's again getting little run support, so the wins aren't coming. But there's no reason to suspect he won't continue to post excellent numbers.

sheets has been pitching much better the last few starts so i see no reason for him to not be outstanding the last 3 months of the season..... in fact if he could get the wins, i think he will be a top 5 pitcher the last half of the season.....
