i remember reading that hermy's arm was giving him trouble plus he has been rather ineffective. i definitely think yhency will have more value over the remainder of the season. heres a lnik...

Fair enough. I think that the White Sox are a much better team than the Dodgers. If Brazy pitches the whole year as closer than he might be a better choice or it might be a push. But right now we don't know when Gagne is coming back. If you're decieding whether to cut Hermanson for Brazy right now, I say no.

ucrook- It says he was a little worn out after pitching 4 straight days. That's not really arm trouble.

Team record has no bearing on save opportunities. It's been proven over and over and over again.
Brazoban is flat out a better pitcher. He will close for the rest of the year b/c even if Gagne doesn't need TJ again, there is also a strong possibility that the Dodgers may just shut him down for the year to heal and rehab.
If I had no other options, I would cut Hermanson for Brazoban in a NY minute.
