He was solid last season for pitching in a hitter's ballpark.

Anyone else think that this change of scenary will be good for this guy? He could very well end up rounding out a FF rotation as a 5th starter. He's very well capable of maintaining an ERA under 4 IMO.

Anyone else agree?? Disagree?

No chance. There's zero room for error with Drese as he gets almost no K's. So right there he's a liability in one category, even if he's pitching great.

Beyond that, Drese is a career stiff who happened to pitch well last year but has simply gone back to being what he always was prior to that.

Stay away.

He sure looked nice vs. Vlade and the gang tonight.

He certainly appeals as a decent enough spot starter but I wouldn't put him on your roster in any mixed leagues.

Moving from the AL to the NL will help as will his new home park. Grab him for his next two starts which should both be against Pittsburgh, home and away and then flick him back on the WW.
