Every SP they sign does great for every team BUT the Yankees. Weaver was lights out in Detroit, and has improved a lot since joining LA. Brown was great in LA, Texas, Baltimore, SD, Florida - everywhere he's pitched - and is crap in NY. Wright figured it out in ATL and stinks in NY. Same to some extent with Pavano, only from FLA. Vaz was awesome in Montreal, and is awesome again in Zona. What exactly does Mel Stottlemyre do? Or maybe not do for that matter?

That's what I've been saying for a long time now. Mel just isn't getting anyone better or even keeping them the same :-t

That's what they used to do

Working at a cemetary and playing on two baseball teams... other than that I sleep and eat and listen to the new White Stripes CD.

I figured with Brown on the mound we would lose anyway. But, Roids hit a moonblast off Mesa though to win the game in 10.

It does not get lower than letting the Giambiaroido hit one into the upper deck on you.

They were a bit lucky tonight. 3 DPs...Cano standing at 2b with 2 out that cost them a run...Arod thrown out at the plate. Redmond looked like he had some decent stuff tonight but Mesa saved us.

You left out Loaiza and Contreras. As long as Mel's is there, I will never touch a pitcher going to the Yankees.
