I know. I have the bum in a number of leagues and have been tolerating the avg. becaus eof the Sbs.
Sad thing is in one league I grabbed Felipe Lopez to put in as a replacement and then Chipper does his little injury routine and I need to use Lopez for 3rd, so Furcal has to stay in. Now Hall is around and I have no slot to pick him up with because Beckett just got himself hurt and my only reserve SP now becomes undroppable unless I want to play short the next week or so. Just unreal. I may cut El Duque anyway for either Silva, D. Wells or just play short and pick up Hall.

Why does he have to be a switch-hitter? I
heard about people who bat right-handed against both lefties and righties. Besides, he bats the same crap from both sides of the plate, so why not let him hit from one side against everyone?
I'm so p_ssed

Furcal's injury is starting to hurt him considerably when he throws as well as when he swings a bat. Doesn't sound good at all.

Are we talking maybe DL? Or just saying he will likely struggle in the near future?

They probably should DL him, cuz otherwise I just see his injuries lingering on for most of the year. I haven't heard that brought up as a likely scenario yet though.
