What is this Boggs drininking 64 beers on a cross country flight madness I head on PTI?

Quite Impressive if true.... if we give bogsy the benefit of the doubt that it was a 5 hr flight he's still clearing a twelver per hr. Most of us would be dead if we tried to do that! That's some serious "hall of fame" boozin' that the babe would be proud of!

Personally, I think that it was just a funny sign that someone made to bring to a college football tailgate. I know nothing about drinking, but I would doubt anyone could do that and still be coherent.

It's great either way...definitely WWE worthy.

Especially on an airplane... I thought you got twice as drunk on an airplane cuz of the altitude. This has to be a gross exaggeration

Why would you been more drunken in a pressurized cabin than on the ground?

Andre The Giant said he had to drink a case of beer to catch a buz, 3 or 4 to get drunk.

EDIT- out here in Orygun a case of beer is 24, I've heard other people call 12 beers a case in other parts of the country.

In college a friend of mine was bet he couldn't drink a case of pounders (16 oz beers) in 2 hours. He drank 23 in 1.5hrs walked a couple miles to the party the guy he had the bet with was at and drank the last one. He also drank about 12 more beers at that party.

Because the first 24 were 16oz instead of 12oz he drank a total of 44 regulation beers in about 4 hours. Since this guy outweighed Boggs by about 100 lbs (he was a offensive lineman) my guess would be that timewise its possible but physiologically its impossible since we had to carry the guy the last couple hundred yards home that night. Not to mention would they really give a guy 64 beers on a airplane?

This story has been around for awhile. Boggs was actually on PTI a while back and they asked him about it, but he kind of avoided the question. 64is probably an exaggerated number that somebody just made up from sometime when Wade got wasted on a cross country flight. Pretty funny story though.
