But anyways... this is real wishful thinking.

I'm playing MLB 2005, career mode, with a catcher.

I'm simming all games, so there's no influence from me, but I think that my catcher would be a solid #1 and cost like... $60 in auction drafts.

He's 31, and, remember now.. no influence by me, he hit .330, had 61 home runs, 155 rbi, and 46 stolen bases. What more can you say? Better stats than anyone in the league, plus it's a catcher.

Maybe it would be bad for the game of baseball... but I'd like to see a player like that!

I assume you Created the player? Because then you could give him the power and speed if you felt like it. Otherwise, who is it?

I'd rather have a first baseman who hits .047 with 1 homerun and 3 RBIs and no steals.

That is what every fantasy player dreams of.

So what. Perhaps it's general talk, but it's pretty funny, or sad that the game did that (unless of course he Created the player).

Well, it IS linked to fantasy baseball, as in I'd certainly want a catcher like that!
I did create the player, but in career mode, you get only a certain amount of stat points.

I think it's all null since you created him. Most likely you gave him more speed than a catcher should have to cause SB's, limited stat pts or not.

that's kind of like the time I played a season of madden 2004 and passed for 100 tds with donovan mcnabb and rushed for 2000 yards and 15 td's what would you pay for that?

there is a lot of money to be made ina realistic video game simulator.

in that season, the qb still refused to onside kick unless it was down to the two minute warning, despite the fact it was down by like 60 points going into the fourth quarter.

im sure the computer never ever thought to pitch around super player./
