Gagne out...

Good. Gagne is one of the most overrated fantasy players of all time. I'm glad he's shut down. What I'm even more glad of? Brazoban was a FA in one of my leagues and I was the first to my computer ;-D

Time to sell high on one of my closers...

He could miss the next two seasons ...

Eric Gagne has a torn ligament in his pitching elbow, and the Dodgers are bracing themselves for the possibility that their All-Star closer could require surgery that could end his season and jeopardize his chance to return next year
"There's a tear in it," athletic trainer Stan Johnston said. "How big it is has yet to be determined."
In case of surgery, the standard repair is the so-called Tommy John procedure, which generally requires 12 to 18 months of rehabilitation. Gagne had that operation in the minor leagues and sat out the 1997 season.

Glad I used my #1 waiver pick to claim Brazoban last night. :-°

I'll bet the house that Gagne is out for at least the 05 season.

Guess this ends the Is Gagne better than Rivera argument.

Should be interesting to see what Braz can do.

Anyone skeptical about Brazoban? I'm just hoping he blows up as I let him go two weeks ago...

But who is chad fox?

He was the reliever named closer for the Cubs but then blew his elbow out after just one save.

How many have lost Jason Schmidt, Mike Hampton, Kelvim Escobar, John Patterson, and now Eric Gagne to various long-term or recurring injuries this year?.. MEEEEE!!!

My season is done now. My only hope this season involved trading Gagne for value later this season, that is now toast. :,-(

To add further insult to injury, I also lost my stashed guy Rocco Baldelli to some new injury yesterday. That is just the kind of season I have had..
