Does Zack Greinke actually throw that lullaby 56 MPH curveball in real life?! That pitch is sick in MVP 2005, almost has tough as Wakefield's knuckleball..

Yes he does, though it is more like 60-62, he might have hit 56 a couple times though, it wouldn't surprise me. If you ask me he needs to quit doing it so much and throw that 93-95 mph fastball that he is capable of throwing and throw that more often.

I know exactly what you mean. One time I was playing a buddy of mine and we were doing random teams, so I got KC :-P

and he got the Red Sox..SO I thought I was going to get killed, then I usually finish my buddies off with a curveball down..and boy..It's incredible..I ended up beating him with a complete game shut out. I'd say it was better then the knuckleball.

If only his curveball was that good in real life. ;-)

try facing shingo takatsu in mvp. shingo has a 56 mph changeup and he throws submarine. IMO submarine is much harder to hit in mvp. shingo is my arch rival lol

Yeah when a submarine or side arm pitcher comes in after an overhead or 3/4 pitcher I'm thrown off for a couple batters. Just like in real life, eh?

I haven't faced a pitcher that caused me that much difficulty yet.

But I do hate submariner pitchers. Always throws me off... especially their sliders that LITERALLY slides aross the width of the screen. :-t

They made Wakefield's knuckleball alot easier to hit this year IMO. Greinke's curve is absolutely ridiculous. I hate facing him. Another tough pitch to hit is Halladay's Palmball, which honestly, i don't think he throws that pitch anymore in real life.
