You guys are probably going to really start questioning my sexuality after this one and this, but my dad was a semi-Elton John fan during his college days I and I guess it's rubbed off on me because I've become a pretty big fan myself. I'm not talking about the crappy sappy stuff post 1980ish (and especially the sell out Disney stuff of the 90's) but the stuff from the late '60s and 70s (Empty Sky til Captain Fantastic in particular) is all fantastic.
Don't know if that qualifies, but for someone my age, it's a little embarassing.
Check the avatar. Duran Duran is probably still fairly acceptable, but not if you're a 28 year old man. Eh, whatever. Some more of my favorite guilty pleasures...

Love it, Dr. Duran Duran (and yes, I get the Barbarella-specific Dr. prefix.
Journey is a great choice. They were considered cool back in the day, but as the years went on, people got tired of Steve Perry's mug and labled them as uncool. I think Escape is a GREAT early-80s rock album, and their earlier stuff is even better.
Men at Work is one of my favorite 80s bands. "Overkill" is a GREAT single.
As for Wham!, you're brave to list that one... and I salute you for it. Say what you will but George Michael, in the Wham years and beyond, certainly knew how to make pop hits. His "Freedom 90" was a really good track.
My friends usually ask "what the hell's going on" when Jim Croce comes up on iTunes. I also like D-12's first album and I'm pretty sure it was a huge flop and I'm one of very few people who actually have it and listen to it.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
