If the yankees are giving up Sheff I would think Prior or Zambrano are in the deal.

I'd be down with trading Sheff for some young talent...that would be sweet...I'd feel better about the future

not a chance. sheff is far closer to the end of his career than these two. this ain't single season fantasy roto ;-)

JD Drew? Come on man, that's just dumb. A young outstanding fielder with speed for the top of the lineup in CF is exactly what the team needed.

Yeah, basing guys value on 2 and 1/2 months is much better than years and years of it.

Using that as your argument further emphasizes how dumb that statement is. It's been what, 60 games and Drew has stayed healthy how many times? And he's as good in the field as Beltran? And he plays CF, the position the Yankees need desperately?

Give me a break.
