I think it is safe to say that Andruw and/or Vernon may have career years (as far as HR totals at least).
Are Wells and Andruw Jones on pace for equal seasons? Not likely, even though their stats are almost identical in all aspects at the plate at this point in time. (Jones has a tendency to strike out a little more often though).
HR RBI BB SB BA OBP SLG
Jones, Andruw CF ATL 16 39 18 2 0.2533 0.3191 0.5197
Wells, Vernon CF TOR 13 33 20 2 0.2542 0.3068 0.4667
Post all-star BA (career)
Andruw -.11 , BP2005 VORP Projection: 39.2
Vernon +.10, BP2005 VORP Projection: 33.4
BP gives a slight edge to Vernon based on Park Factor.
Who is the guy to have down the stretch that takes the lead at the finish line?
