I think it is safe to say that Andruw and/or Vernon may have career years (as far as HR totals at least).

Are Wells and Andruw Jones on pace for equal seasons? Not likely, even though their stats are almost identical in all aspects at the plate at this point in time. (Jones has a tendency to strike out a little more often though).

I'd go with Wells, he seems out of his slump and usually he hits for a higher BA than Jones.

And Vernon can steal bases.

He was quoted that he was looking for a 30/30 year. I dont think a 30/15 is out of the question (if he starts running!).

But Jones will be close don't get me wrong. It's just that Wells has the edge with SB and AVG. I think Jones' power numbers will be better though. As close as it is...I say Vernon

I just hope they make it a battle, since I own 'em both.

Edge to Preston, but I could see the old vet stringing together a nice season. If Wells struggles again Andruw could put him away.

V-Dub is not a .250 or so hitter like Jones. Look for him to heat up in that department, too.
