Sorry if you're sick about hearing this guy and his struggles, but what do you guys think of him as a potential buy low prospect? Will he turn it around and why or why not?

Depends on how low you can get him. I have him on my team... I'd say right now, it's about 50/50 he produces as a top player in the second half. I wouldn't give up much more than Dunn or someone along those lines...

I would say Thome>Helton for the remainder of the season. Better lineup, plus Thome's already showing that he's back in business.

However, Helton will turn it around. I've made lowball offers on him in pretty much every league I'm in. He's just too good to stay in this funk.

I have him in 2 leagues. In 1 league I'm keeping him because I'm already running away, but in the other I'm trying to trade him for another 1B and give up for in return. Most are trying to buy low on me, but I wont give in. I've already invested too much time into him, so I will keep taking the hit until he turns it on.

I fall into the camp that says for whatever reason, he will not turn it around this year. I know this defies logic, but there are no signs of him improving at all. Absolutely dismal on the road. In almost 100 ABs (93),
2 HRs 6 RBIs, 21 Ks, .237 BA, .709 OPS

I have given up on him, trading he and Hafner, another underachiever.

Helton was infuriated when the Cards radio announcer, who used to be with the Rockies insinuated he was using steroids, but ...

if the price is right i'd always deal for a big hitter like helton. he's still playing in coors field right now so he he can break out of his slump really quick.
