i would have dropped him for erstad last week, but i was out of moves.

then on sunday morning another guy in my division claimed erstad off of waivers.

so i am stuck with him for a few weeks....luckily i found nick johnson last month.

He's what you wish Giambi was.

I don't see this affecting Hafner's PT. He blows in the field so wasn't a factor there anyways. He's due to start smashing the ball around so hang in there Travis owners.

I thought that trading Derrek Lee for Hafner and AJ Burnett was a steal.

So far, Hafner's only hit a few homers, driven in a few runs, and Burnett hasn't even got 1 win.

But at least I used those two in trades for Soriano and Thome, so it's all good.

Done - dictionary definiton 1. worn out, exhausted, used up.

Seeing as this is the fantasy baseball cafe, in this context 'done' means lacking fantasy value, or more specifically lacking sufficient value to take up a fantasy roster spot.

Apologies that the use of 'done' in this context was so difficult to grasp, especially considering the above mentioned player's past history of having a season cut short due to an elbow problem.

I've been having the same ? as to whether or not I should pick up Hafner... He's going to ride the WW for me until he turns it around, especially since I have N. Johnson and Thome on the roster..
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

He started slow last year and I'm still expecting 30 home runs and 90 rbis from him this year. Cleveland has been crap up to now with Vmart disappointing millions.

I'm sure a second half turn around is in store.
