No official link yet, but sources at brewerfan.net are saying that Fielder is in Tampa Bay and is set to likely DH for the Brewers against Tampa and Toronto. He's homered in his first start at every level he's played at (Ogden, Beloit, Huntsville, and Nashville), so maybe something big is in store for today. I would assume, unless some drastic trade is made, that Prince will be up for these six games and then back down, so his fantasy value is likely minimal. Still, it will be nice to get a glimpse of the future with Weeks, Fielder, and Hardy all playing.
No transaction has officially occurred yet, so he may or may not debut today.

I would doubt it. It'd seem to be a nice trial for Prince, use him for these six games in the AL as a DH and let him get a taste of the bigs, then send him back down, unless he absolutely tears the cover off the ball.
Even then though I would think they'd send him back down

I agree. That IF could be one of the best in the league for many years to come if they all live up to the hype. I'm not sure how the FA clocks and stuff like that work, but why would they want to bring him up for just a few games?
1B Prince Fielder
2B Rickie Weeks
SS JJ Hardy
3B Ryan Braun
...could be fantastic. They'll need to work on their defense (except JJ, who should win a gold glove or five). But there is some serious hitting there.
Anyway, I would expect that this is just a cup of coffee for Prince. Six games as a DH, give him a chance to hit some pretty bad pitching in Tampa, challenge him a bit perhaps in Toronto, and send him back down to keep working on his glove in Nashville. He still is only 21 years old.
I think this is just a little trial for him to get a taste of the bigs. I think Overbay is safe for now but within the next year or two the Brewers will have some decisions to make at first base.
I heard that they were thinking about bringing up Prince when they were in Philly, for the games on the road in the AL so he could DH. But I didn't actually think they would do it. Anyways you can guess where I will be for the next 3 games!
