I had the second pick and here's how it went:

1st: Arod
2nd: Kent
3rd: Brian Giles
4th: Colon
5th: Posada
6th: Urbina
7th: Mike Williams
8th: Pierre
9th: Salmon
10th: Lowell
11th: Olerud
12th: Isringhausen
13th: Woody Williams
14th: Al Leiter
15th: Edgar Martinez
16th: Sean Casey
17th: Moss
18th: Dave Roberts
19th: Toby Hall
20th: Moises Alou
21st: J.D Drew

A couple of them have been shaky, but for a 16 team league, I don't think I did too bad. A little weak on pitching, but I've cut Hall and Drew for Carlos Zambrano and Jake Peavy so I'm ok. It's not the best team I've ever fielded, but most of them are getting the job done. Not 1 trade yet. Everything I get offered is terrible. Examples: Pat Burrell for my Arod, Giambi for my Arod and Woody Williams.......gimme a break.

Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.

i had some pretty terrible picks in my draft. this is my first year of fantasy baseball and i didnt do too much scouting. after the draft i did some research and picked up a lot of free agents.

busts:
round-player
5 - larry walker
8 - konerko
10 - buehrle
16 - michael barret
20 - vladimir nunez
21 - rodrigo lopez
22 - joe borchard
24 - jon garland
25 - david bell

walker and konerko could still turn it around but they arent worthy of the place i drafted them in. buehrle seemed like a steal in the 10th round at the time. the bottom of the draft did absolutely nothing for me except austin kearns who i grabbed at 19. i dumped most of the guys before the season started. in fact, i only have 12 of the 25 people i originally drafted. but i have made some good trades and good free agent pick ups to end up with this lineup which currently has me in first place in a ten team head to head league. half of the owners arent really active though. asterisk=the guys i drafted. the rest were free agents or trades.

i think drafting buehrle is a big mistake, or paul konerko in any round before 15... i mean, i can't completely fault people for drafting him period, but before round 15 is especially painful.

the other one that's been underwhelming thus far was drafting manny ramirez in the 2nd round of all my three drafts. i figured coming off of that injury last season, he'd be the biggest bargian of the draft. a veritable lock for .320/35/120, he's currently at .310/8/36 while corey patterson, for example, is completely outplaying him.

my teams are all somewhat offensively inept, and they'll all be in much better shape once manny takes off.

vladimir guerrero has been bunk thus far too. sure, he's had nagging injuries... but he was my first round pick in 2/3 drafts (well, i traded the #5 pick/barry bonds for him in one)... and right now he's like .308/8/33/5, which isn't paul konerko terrible... but i mean, you expect the guy to be like .330/14/45/10 right now, dueling with soriano for the best overall player in roto.

i drafted joe crede in the late rounds of all three drafts and that hurt too. i didnt prioritize 3b in the drafts, figuring crede was a cheap .275/25/80 that would produce decent #s while my killer OFs, featuring the bargain basement manny ramirez, would hold it down. of course, that didnt work out either.

I took rodrigo lopez in the 13th round as my worst pick.

However the worst that anyone made in our draft was some crackhead took varitek in round round. Followed by someone that took Burrell in the first round (pick 11).

Lowe in the third round. In a 10 player H2H league where earned runs allowed takes away points. Lots of negative points to start out the season. And a 1-6 record :(

Anyhow to counter that I drafted Soriano in the 1st round, 6th pick, and Pujols in the 2nd round, 14th pick. And I cashed in on Bernie's hot start and Matsui's hype by trading them for Shawn Green + Kevin Brown.

10-team

R.Klesko 6th rd- major 1b runs were going on.. all that was left.. him and Konerko.. glad i missed him.

Beckett 11th rd
O.Hernandez 14th rd

But i had traded all of them before the season started anyway so didnt hurt me.

On the flip side though..

15rd-JaunGone-traded for G.Anderson(who knew!)
16th-K.Brown-Still have
17th-Santiago-cut because i had Pudge.. again.. WHO KNEW!
20th-A.Ramirez-still have

So i'll take my good with my bad.

I may have everyone beat in the number of sh*t picks but have recovered nicely since I'm tired for first in a ten team head to head action league. Here's a summury of my worst picks.

5th E. Hinske
7th R. Nenn
8th B. Koch
12th P. Nevin

Those are just my worst picks....I also don't have anybody left on my team after the 20th round.
