I had picked him up last season due to some of my other pitchers being infured and he had got a couple of nice starts until he got that awful shot to the elbow. Would he be a player owned in most leagues or is he just another FA list regular?

If you have the room for him I'd take a chance. He has a tremendous upside, strikes out a decent amount, and he'll get a lot of wins with Texas.
I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of a ruling class... especially since I rule.

i picked him up before his start today and came out of it with the W.... i think he's a fine gamble, but don't expect top-teir stats.
