I recently had some free time and broke down all the pitching matchups for the projected two starters this week.
Here is what I came up with for the upcoming week...
Take it to the bank Johan Santana (L)
Jose Contreras (R)
Roy Halladay (R)
Chris Young (R)
Dontrelle Willis (L)
Matt Clement (R)
Flip a coin Brandon Backe (R)
Jeff Weaver (R)
Jason Johnson (R)
Hayden Penn (R)
Esteban Loaiza (R)
Jake Westbrook (R)
Jake Peavy (9 IP combined last 2 starts) (R) - vs Santana and J. Johnson this week
Jeff Suppan (R)
Tim Hudson (R)
Chris Capuano (L)
Jon Lieber (R)
Mike Mussina (R)
Not Looking good Kip Wells (R)
Paul Byrd (R)
Jeff Francis (L)
Gil Meche (R)
Pedro Astacio (R)
Shawn Estes (L)
Joe Blanton (R)
Noah Lowry (L)
Note: Zambrano removed
Enjoy

If Penn were surely starting twice, then I'd just about put him in "money" status. The teams he would pitch against (COL, HOU) are awful on the road. But, since there's a chance Bedard could be back before the weekend, I passed on him and went with Victor Zambrano. I have the same feelings on him as you did.
It worked last week with Armas anyway.

Yeah Peavy was a tough decision obviously nobodys gonna bench him. He's throwing against Santana and Jason Johnson who has been pitching well himself. Jakes ERA has been around 4 his past few outings, but he will have to work very hard this week to win two games.
Their official MLB.com site has Glavine going Tuesday as well. I would assume this is correct info at this point.
Yeah, I think I'm staying away from Rototimes from now on...I like that they put it out on Saturdays, but the ones I need to be right are sometimes messed up.
You can basically do it yourself most times...just find out who pitches on Tuesday for the current week, and they are generally the 2 start guys for the next week.

I'd stick Willis in flip a coin personally, he hasnt' had a good game against a good team in a long time and he faces 2 of them this week, my bet is he gets roughed up pretty good.
Your studs are always must starts; Peavy's gotta be that. I'd also move Kip Wells to flip a coin. He's been pretty good lately...Pirates seem to be heading in the right direction.
