I am in Orange County, California and am going to fly out to Phoenix, but don't want to spend 150 bucks round trip for a 1 hour flight. Driving is out of the question, I don't think my car can make it.
Southwest has 50 bucks before all the taxes each way, which is doable if I have to, but I would like to know if there are promotional codes or anything floating around out there.
I used to see Southwest advertise like 30-40 bucks for flights all the time.

Thanks for the help.
It was $39 flights from SW, but they raised the minimum to $49 now. It's still cheap though, planes and their fuel is ridiculously expensive.

check the southwest site on a daily basis. there are frequent changes to what flights are available at different prices and times. http://www.sidestep.com isn't bad either
JetBlue has very limited flights and schedules. I signed up for something on Southwest to alert me with deals in my email and got deals for around $37 bucks each way, which is great.
Sad thing is now a few more people will be joining me on the trip so now I think we are gonna drive and just split the gas so it will be a lot cheaper.
