trade Colon for Pudge?

I was offered Pudge Rodriguez for Bartolo Colon. Colon has had a good start but might be at his maximum value for the season. Does this improve my team?

this is really a tough question!

Your pitching stuff looks really good, so you could afford a loss like Colon!

The bigger and more concerning question is, how big your upgrade at C this trade is. Two seasons ago, I would have made such a trade blindly (alas, you would have never been offered a similar one), but now, with the recent injury history of Pudge it is dangerous. Hall on the other side is a solid catcher, but wont put up the same stats as a healthy IRod.

A lot depends on you needs, too. If you feel you would need batting upgrades, then its a good deal. If you have great batting and you would not gain many points, then maybe dont do it. It also depends on the size of your league, if you probablycould get a good SP from the wire with some upside potential.

I probably would do the trade, hoping for a healthy season from Pudge, and that he bounces back for a big season!
