I am just fooling around trying to teach myself how to make a sig. I did one on photoshop but can only save it as a photoshop document. I then can't load it onto photobucket because they only take jpegs, etc. Any suggestions?

Check the logo forum...
The answer to your question concisely is File<Save for Web. Make it a JPEG and adjust the quality bar to get the file size under 12 kb.
In the tutorial thread there I put a Photoshop tutorial (in the Tutorial thread) of doing this with screenshots in case you get lost.

Better responses are in the
correct forum. Lots of people are working in that forum and you'd definately have gotten an answer. There's a reason that forum exists

I've posted there in the past and have not received much help. Sorry, but for people who aren't mods you're taking it a bit seriously aren't you? I was just trying to get a quick answer before getting off for the night and there's more traffic in FT for an easy question. Thanks alot for the help though. Much appreciated guys.

Damn, can't figure out how to save for web. Guess I'll look around and see if there's an in-depth discussion on it because I'm lost.

This is why you check the Logo forum....
In the Tutorial Sticky here is this:
blankman wrote:Here is Saving In Photoshop....
File/Save For Web will bring up this popup. Set it to JPEG, and adjust the quality bar to get the desired file size (encircled in the bottom left).

I checked if after you brought it up. I couldn't find save for web anywhere but at least was able to figure out how to save as a jpeg. I'm going to check that thread out a bit more later and see what I'm missing. It's Photoshop Deluxe we're talking about though right? Just not sure why I'm not seeing the button everyone says is there. Thanks.
