Things aren't looking good on the Austin Kearns front. Being drafted ahead of Adam Dunn may very well become his biggest claim to fame.
Kearns is definately droppable in yearly formats with fewer than fourteen teams, but keep a close eye on him. He still has keeper value (he's only 25). I'd give him another year or two in dynasty leagues too.
If the Reds trade Casey, Dunn could move back to first, opening up a spot for Kearns in the OF again - which he could earn if he is a matchups guy from here on out. The Kid's legs will have a lot to do with Kearn's value for the rest of 2005 too.
