Myers v. Burnett

I'd take Burnett pretty easily, he pitches in a much better park than Myers does.

I don't think its even close, Burnett by far, coming back from Tommmy John and pitching like he has, 10Ks tonight in fact, Burnett by far.

Burnett, he's the more proven pitcher.

Myers has been good for a whole 2 months out of his entire major league career. After last year, I just can't bring myself to trust him. He's been incredible this year though...

Take your pick, they're both studs, I'd just rather have Burnett. He's got the history to back him up.

Burnett. Ya gotta bet on the guy who's had success before.....lots of guys start off a season hot....and have 5.00+ ERAs before the year is done.

If Myers is still pitching like this in September, I will be sold as he's always had the talent to be a big time SP stud.

Myers has good numbers this year but I think they will bloat a little bit. Burnett has gotten so UNLUCKY in practically all of his starts and his numbers are better then they seem.

They are both very good. I think Myers is the real deal and will only get better. Burnett scares me cuz of his past injury problems and the fact McKeon overpitches him all the time. Myers always had the talent and had shown flashes of brilliance before. Myers has only 2 bad starts, and they were both against Atl. I give a slight edge to Myers.

I'd go with Burnett by a little, although it wouldn't be a surprise to see him go out again with a major injury.
